Peterborough bodybuilder qualifies for nationwide festival


Peterborough’s Kalli Sheppard, 22, shall be centre-stage on the 2017 Determine, Health and Body Canadian Nationals July 29th in Surrey B.C.

Sheppard began bodybuilding at 19.

“I used to be sitting round bored.  I didn’t have a task.  My mother works on the health club, so I used to be like ‘let’s move to the health club’.  So we did and I fell in love.”

Sheppard trains on a daily basis.  However she says her nutrition is a very powerful a part of bodybuilding.

“It’s 90 consistent with cent nutrition.  I devour greater than a grown male.  Like 10 instances greater than him an afternoon.  I devour about Four-Five hen breasts an afternoon and raise tremendous heavy.”

Sheppard shall be competing within the determine class in B.C.  She’s no stranger to festival and hopes to earn her professional card, which can permit her to compete for money prizes.

“I’ve competed at a large number of displays. I’ve positioned 1st or 2d at each and every display. It were given me to Nationals. If I win there, I will get my professional card.”
