Calgary Stampeders take first lack of the season in Montreal – Calgary


The Calgary Stampeders took house their first lack of the season Friday evening, shedding a 30-23 determination to Montreal.

Jerome Messam was once stripped by means of Chris Ackie in the second one, resulting in an Alouettes landing.

Messam was once then disqualified for a coarse play and a face masks.

Montreal slotback and previous Stampeder Nik Lewis simply were given the 21 yards he had to cross Alouettes legend Ben Cahoon (13,301) for 6th position in all-time receiving yards.

A 30-yard throw from Bo Levi Mitchell within the 3rd earned DaVaris Daniels his first landing of the season.

Rene Paredes kicked 5 box targets for a complete of 135 yards whilst Mitchell finished 34/50 passes for an total 379 yards. 

The Stampeders are again in motion Saturday, July 22, after they welcome Saskatchewan. Pre-game display begins at five:30 p.m. on NewsTalk 770 with kickoff set for 7:00.
